Taylor (b. 1990, they/them) is a Charlottesville-based artist. With a foundation in architecture, Taylor brings a spatial awareness and careful craft to all work, ranging from drawing and painting to poetry to architectural and graphic design. They hold a Bachelor of Architectural History from the University of Virginia (2012) and a Master of Architecture from Tulane University (2017), and spent several years as an architectural designer with Lundberg Design in San Francisco before returning to the east coast.

At the root of their work is a deep curiosity in the human condition, and a willingness to explore it through various mediums. Add to this several years of practicing architecture, staging interiors, making art, working in galleries, and what emerges is an attuned sensitivity and experiential base for our relationship to the spaces, objects, and stories that surround us.

A dedicated dance and somatic practice also informs Taylor’s work, centering the wisdom of the body.
